Tristar Homes

Tristar Homes are proud to be involved in a major new social housing group. A major housing and social enterprise group that will be the driving force behind community regeneration projects has been launched in the North East.

Tristar Homes Limited is a registered provider of social housing.  In December 2010 it took over the ownership of the former Stockton Borough Council housing stock following an overwhelming vote of support from Council tenants.The Company owns over 10,000 homes in the Borough of Stockton (Stockton, Thornaby, Billingham, Yarm and surrounding villages), as well as some shops, garages and garage sites.

It embraces Tristar Homes, which has more than 10,000 properties and Housing Hartlepool, which is responsible for 7,000 homes in its portfolio.

The two organisations will retain their distinct identities and continue to operate as separate entities with their own housing stocks and workforces.

The group structure means the organisations can bring together their expertise and share best practice which will mean even better services for their tenants.
